If you’ve never experienced it, Louisiana culture revolves around sharing food and drinks at multi-generational gatherings like festivals, picnics, parties and parades. We spent years watching what everyone was drinking, peeking into coolers and fridges everywhere we went. Probiotic drinks would be forgotten after two sips, and tended to have a Stevia aftertaste. Traditional sodas, even those that are caffeine-free, were chock full of sugar and synthetic flavors and colors.
So we set out with a simple mission: make a drink that’s delicious enough to satisfy the most discerning palates, clean enough to serve to our children, and looks cool enough to carry around til the very last sip.
We started making syrups in our kitchen, experimenting with seasonal fruit found at Louisiana farm stands, and recipes from our most cherished Southern cookbooks.
Louie Pop! reflects the best of New Orleans' premium craft drinking culture. We only use real fruit juice and natural cane sugar - plus a small touch of Monkfruit - in our hand crafted recipes.
We hope you enjoy what we’ve made. Like the hand painted sign in our favorite New Orleans Sno-Ball stand says:
